G7ee’s aka George T G Lee’s musical journey began at a very young age with a profound love for music that has been like a constant companion & often a savour throughout his younger days and growing into the rest of his life. To him, music was everywhere, he would hear it on the radio, when he played his  vinyl LP’s, at bars, at clubs and constantly in his head. He appreciated most artists with a varied range of influences through a diverse array of artists from Bread to Stevie Wonder, from Led Zeppelin to Michael Jackson, & many more. He bought his first album at 12 yrs old, Donna Summer’s MacArthur Park, then came Earth Wind & Fire September, Bad Company , Rod Stewart, Ritchie Blackmore, Bread. At night , he would spin those records in the living room where he would dance with his sister Christine and every chance he ogt he would add to his record collection. He swears that if the subjects at school were taught with a catchy tune, he would pass with distinctions every time. He counts his blessing that he grew up to the music of the 70’s 80’s & early 90’s, the best era of music ever. He immersed himself in the rich sounds of those times but was most impressed by musical films The Sound of Music, Mary Poppins and then came the disco wave of Saturday Night Fever, Fame, Flashdance, Footloose & Jesus Christ Superstar. Every Saturday when Casey Casey used to announce the American Top 40’s on radio, he would be tuned to listen to all the best singles and which song made No 1, every week. With all these music imbedded within G7ee of an unbelievable era of sound, tunes & vision that sadly can never be repeated, has left an indelible mark on his musical style. He believes that without music in his life, it would have been boring and through music he could “escape” and it helped him keep his sanity intact.

It seems quite unbelievable that all of that didn’t lead him to become a musician until in May 2021, during a pandemic 3 month-lock down in Kuala Lumpur, George decided to pick up the guitar, self-taught himself in a month the basics of 6 chords and he was composing songs that resonated with the emotions and experiences of life. His first composition, “Life’s A Mystery,” (never released) paved the way for many more. As of August 2026, he has composed over 200 original songs mostly heartfelt songs that reflected his personal journey, about love, some about life and thoughts/ideas and some stories and experiences.

After Covid he returned to his home on Gold Coast, Australia in Mid 2022 and continued to refine his craft. In early 2024, he met Keefe West, an accomplished musician and sound engineer and began collaborating as co-producer to add a professional studio mix to what was already beautiful songs that he had composed. With a growing repertoire of songs mostly love ballads Indie style, G7ee also produced different genres such as Folk, Pop, Dance, Reggae and Deep House. His first release on YouTube was Because of You in May 2024 and then it was as the artist George T. G. Lee. In fact his first 9 songs under that name. His next 8 songs were released on YouTube & Spotify and as of March 2026 had 9 songs as George T.G. Lee. However, just recently G7ee signed up distribution with Roc Nation to release his songs on all media and to consummate their deal with the release of RINGA DINGA LINGA on July 4th 2026

A major milestone just 4 1/2 years since picking up the guitar, he joined Music Funding Academy (MFA) on 24th December 2025, leading to an auspicious event on 16th January 2026 at Atlanta, Georgia, The artist George T G Lee came under the guidance of Mr Chris Tyson CEO of Music Funding Academy and was introduced to Mr Rel Carter CEO of Roc Nation, with the aim to distribute his songs. After performing live for the two gentlemen, George T G Lee changed his stage name to G7ee and spent 6 months to revamp his website and all material and the result of which is what you are seeing here today. 6 months of hard work, clever ideas, content material and styes incorporated into this space and that special day to finally relaunch his musical career and continued to build his relationships. It promises many more exciting things to come and experience and the journey has so far been Insane! He aims to touch the hearts of listeners worldwide, aspiring to release his first album soon, hoping to have a hit song soon, see his music performed by well-known artists as well as himself on the world stage. That is the platform from which this transformation, renaming, adaption to today’s tech world, creation of hit songs, performance on the international stage and personal growth shall arise from.
